Please read the following carefully. We want you to have a complete understanding of what our warranty includes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines for additional information.
Hassle-Free 1-Year Warranty
Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines warrants the original purchaser that the purchased part is protected against defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year (365 days) from the original date of purchase.
In the event of a covered defect, Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the defective part.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and covers only defects in the purchased part. Accessories or external components attached to the part are not covered unless specifically stated on the invoice.
Hassle-Free 1-Year Warranty on Mechanical Parts
The Mechanical Parts Warranty does not cover failures resulting from:
* Improper installation;
* Failure to clear vehicle computer codes;
* Defective workmanship during installation;
* Use of the part for applications not intended by the vehicle manufacturer;
* Improper maintenance;
* Use of incorrect fluids or lubricants;
* Failure to maintain proper fluid levels;
* Failure to follow the maintenance schedule outlined in the vehicle manufacturer’s owner’s manual.
Extended Warranty
The duration of any Extended Warranty purchased through Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines is determined by the warranty option selected before checkout or as shown on your invoice.
An Extended Warranty extends only the length of warranty coverage. It does not expand or change the type of warranty protection provided under the standard Hassle-Free 1-Year Warranty unless specifically stated.

Labor Warranty
One-Year Labor Coverage
Parts and labor are covered for up to one (1) year from the original invoice date.
12-Month / 12,000-Mile Coverage
Parts and labor are covered for up to:
* Twelve (12) months from the original invoice date, or
* Twelve thousand (12,000) additional miles on the vehicle’s odometer,
whichever occurs first.
Labor Warranty Conditions
* Proof of vehicle mileage at the time of repair is required.
* Repairs must be performed by a licensed and qualified automotive repair facility.
* Labor warranties must be purchased at the time of the original sale.
* Labor warranty applies only to the originally purchased part.
* Replacement parts supplied under warranty do not automatically receive a new labor warranty unless purchased separately.
* Labor reimbursement is limited to $100.00 per labor hour, not exceeding the original purchase price of the part.
* Labor reimbursement will be based on recognized industry labor guides.
* Labor warranty benefits may only be used once per covered purchase.
All Warranties Become Void If
Warranty coverage becomes void if:
* The part is installed in a vehicle or application not intended by the vehicle manufacturer.
* Failure results from towing beyond the manufacturer’s recommended towing capacity.
* Failure is caused by abuse, misuse, racing, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
* The vehicle has been involved in an accident or collision after installation.
* Required maintenance has not been performed according to manufacturer specifications.
* Incorrect fuel, oil, coolant, or lubricants are used.
* Damage results from theft, fire, explosion, flooding, freezing, lightning, hail, earthquakes, storms, or other natural disasters.
* Required engine heat tabs are removed, altered, or melted.
* The product has been disassembled or modified without written authorization from Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines.
Terms and Conditions
* All warranties are non-transferable.
* Warranty coverage begins on the original purchase date shown on the invoice.
* The original invoice must accompany all warranty claims.
* Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines must approve all repairs or replacements before any work is performed.
* Proof of recommended maintenance may be required.
* Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines reserves the right to inspect any product before approving a warranty claim.
* Timing belts, water pumps, thermostats, spark plugs, seals, gaskets, filters, and fluids are maintenance items and should be replaced during installation according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines drains fluids from engines, transmissions, and other components before shipping. Customers are responsible for refilling all required fluids using the manufacturer’s recommended specifications before operating the vehicle.
* Warranty does not include freight, shipping charges, towing, storage, rental vehicles, loss of use, or similar expenses unless otherwise stated.
* Glass, windshields, mirrors, and similar items are not covered unless specifically listed on the original invoice.
* Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines is not responsible for injuries or property damage resulting from improper installation or misuse of purchased parts.
* Vehicle year and model shown on the invoice represent compatible interchange information. The supplied part may not be from the exact same model year but will be compatible where applicable.
* Cooling systems, electrical systems, and related components must be properly inspected before installing products affected by these systems.
Engine Warranty
Engine warranties cover defects involving:
* Engine block cracks;
* Internal rod knock;
* Internal block failure;
* Excessive engine smoking caused by internal engine defects.
Engine warranties do not cover:
* Oil leaks;
* External accessories attached to the engine;
* Sensors;
* Wiring;
* Belts;
* Hoses;
* Fuel system components;
* Electrical accessories.
Warranty coverage becomes void if engine heat tabs are removed or melted.
Claims involving overheating caused by cooling system failure, lack of maintenance, improper lubrication, low coolant levels, or incorrect installation are not covered.
Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines does not guarantee compliance with emissions or smog regulations applicable in every jurisdiction. Customers are responsible for verifying emissions compliance before purchasing.
Transmission Warranty
When installing a transmission, the installer is responsible for:
* Replacing or cleaning the transmission cooler or radiator where required;
* Flushing transmission cooling lines;
* Replacing filters, seals, and gaskets;
* Filling all required fluids;
* Adjusting the shifter mechanism;
* Clearing diagnostic trouble codes;
* Resetting transmission control systems when necessary.
Transmission warranties cover normal internal operation and gear engagement.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
* Improper installation;
* Abuse;
* Racing;
* Incorrect fluids;
* Lack of maintenance;
* Physical damage to the transmission case;
* Improper use.

Important Notices
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Parts
Any recycled Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) component, including airbags and seat belts, must be installed by a qualified technician according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
The installer is responsible for verifying proper operation before the vehicle is returned to service.
Nelson Cleveland Mars Engines is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from improper installation or misuse of recycled SRS components.
All recycled SRS components are sold “AS IS”, without any express or implied warranty unless otherwise required by law.
VIN Requirements
Where applicable, installers are responsible for obtaining replacement Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) labels or documentation necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
